Hazel's Cake Eating Hippo

Usually children tell stories about me. Or invite me into their lives. I'm an imaginary friend and I have all the answers.

Yes, I do eat special cake. (And it's not always healthy carrot cake) I am big. I can do and eat anything. And despite Occupational Health and Safety Rules, yes I do live on the roof. I do not have a ladder-climbing-competency-certificate, but I can tap and belly-dance on my roof.

My creator Hazel Edwards refuses to write an autobiography so I've offered to answer a few questions, because we get so many fun letters, quirky cards and curious e-mails asking, "Why do you eat cake?"

Each monthly update, I will answer another reader's question. Email your questions to hippo@hazeledwards.com.
